Our annual indoor festival, held on Super Bowl weekend in the Hellenic Center, offers a opportunity to indulge in authentic Greek cuisine. Whether you're craving our famous gyros or a variety of other Greek favorites, you can enjoy your meal in our cozy dining area, or opt for takeout or delivery to enjoy at home. This festival is the perfect way to satisfy your appetite for Greek flavors, all while celebrating the warmth and hospitality of our community!

The Poughkeepsie Greek Festival has been a beloved tradition for over 40 years, held biannually in June and September on the grounds of Kimisis and the Hellenic Center. Visitors can enjoy a feast of authentic Greek food, pastries, and handmade loukoumades, browse unique offerings from local vendors, and experience lively Greek dance performances and live music by Markos & his bouzouki band.

Join us almost every Friday during Lent at the welcoming Hellenic Center for our indoor Lenten Fish Fry. Enjoy a delicious meal featuring beer-battered haddock, creamy mac n' cheese, rich lobster bisque, and a selection of imported Greek beers. Whether dining in or taking out, it's the perfect way to enjoy a hearty meal in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Join us every June and September to experience the joy of Greek cuisine, music, dancing, and fellowship. We’ve also expanded our celebration with exciting events like the annual indoor Gyro Bowl Festival, held on the weekend of the Super Bowl, and our Lenten Fish Fry, taking place on most Fridays during Western Lent. These additional events give even more opportunities to indulge in Greek flavors and culture.

BECOME A VENDOR
With over 8,000 visitors in just 3 days, our June and September Greek Festivals offer a wonderful opportunity to showcase your products to a large and enthusiastic audience under our main festival tent.
For our June and September Festivals, vendors are responsible for providing their own 6-foot table and will be assigned an approximate 8' x 6' space along the perimeter of the main dining tent. In the event of rain, a tarp or back-wall is recommended to help keep your booth protected and dry.
In addition to our outdoor festival opportunities, we are pleased to offer a Holiday Craft Fair held indoors at the Hellenic Center, details below. This event is designed to create a festive early holiday shopping experience for the community and will feature handmade crafts, artisan products, specialty goods, gifts, and food vendors.

Join us for our very first Holiday Craft Fair at the Hellenic Center!
Saturday & Sunday, October 24th & 25th | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Featuring approximately 30+ vendors inside the Hellenic Center, our goal is to create a festive early holiday shopping experience for the community. Shoppers will enjoy a curated selection of handmade crafts, specialty goods, gifts, artisan products, and food vendors just in time for the holiday season.
This is a juried event. If you are interested in participating, please complete the vendor inquiry form.
Vendor participation is $50 per day, with two-day participants preferred.
Because indoor space is limited to approximately 25–40 vendors, we expect spaces to fill quickly. If you would like to be considered, please let us know as soon as possible so we can begin compiling our early vendor interest list.
